GEO audit and fix files
What a GEO audit scores, the fix categories it generates, and how to apply them — one click on supported CMSs, copy/paste elsewhere.
A GEO audit checks how ready a page is to be cited by AI engines like ChatGPT or Perplexity, as opposed to ranked by Google. You give it a URL; it discovers and crawls up to 8 pages from that site, sends what it finds to an AI model, and gets back a GEO score (0–100), an E-E-A-T rating (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor), and a prioritized list of fixes.
What gets scored
Each crawled page is checked for the concrete signals AI engines look for when deciding what to cite: whether it carries schema markup (and which types), whether it has an FAQ section, whether it names and bios an author, how often it uses citation-style language ("according to", "research by", "source:"), how many external links it has, and how many images have alt text.
The fix list
Each fix comes back with a title, a priority (High/Med/Low), a plain-English explanation of the GEO impact, and a category — the categories the AI assigns are Schema Markup, FAQ Content, Author Attribution, Meta / Copy, Citation, Entity Coverage and Structured Data. You can generate the actual fix code for any item on demand: the AI returns what the page currently has versus the code that should replace or be added, and that result is cached so re-opening a fix you've already generated doesn't cost you anything extra.
Applying a fix
On a website connected as WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or Wix, pushing a fix edits the live page directly and records what was there before, so it can be reverted with one click if it doesn't look right. On any other setup — a webhook integration, or no CMS connected — there's no push target, so you copy or download the generated code and apply it yourself.
Allowance
| Allowance | Current plan | Trial |
|---|---|---|
| GEO audits / month | 10 | 1 |
| AI optimizations / month (covers generating fix code) | 100 | 10 |
Starting an audit consumes one GEO audit credit — it's at least one AI call plus up to 8 page crawls. Generating the code for a specific fix draws from your AI optimizations allowance instead, and only the first time; re-opening an already-generated fix is free.
Frequently asked questions
A combination of structural signals (schema, FAQs, author bios) and content signals (citation-style phrasing, external references, alt text coverage) that AI engines rely on when sourcing an answer.
- AI citation tracking — How a citation scan works, which AI engines it checks, how often it runs, and what counts as a citation versus a mention.
- Site audit and the fix queue — What the crawler checks, how issues are scored by category, and how you act on what it finds.
